Yeah, the A6 and S6 got the C6 platform in 2005 (not sure if it was a mid year thing, or not) The US spec allroad stayed on the C5 platform because it was being phased out here.
I don't really know anything about the European version, but I read that it's on the C6 platform.

I found this list of C5 platform cars and dates online...

1997-2004. C5 platform cars:

Audi A6 (Typ 4B, 1997-2004)
Audi S6 (Typ 4B, 2001-2003)
Audi RS6 (Typ 4B, 2002-2004)
Audi allroad quattro (Typ 4Z, 2000-2005)

^ o ok cool. So the U.S. got the C5 but the European had the C6 in 2005? ill have to do some research myself, not that big of a deal, just gettin a feel for different cars as this is my first audi.
