Default Whats with the windows?

None of my windows will move when the temp drops to maybe 25 degrees. I assume it's the rubber stiffening? This is really friggin annoying 'cause I got tolls that I have to stop and pay. What a pita when you gotta stop, put on the e brake then open the door half a$$ed style to pay the toll. Ghetto man, ghetto.

Never been to Germany, but I've watched Band of Brothers enough to know it's cold there too in the winter. What no testing, or do they just assume windows will stay up all winter?

I don't know what's up (or down) with your windows. It was below zero for two mornings in a row out here in the Hudson Valley--and I had no trouble with the windows. Of course, if the rubber surrounds are drying out, they might be sticking.

Of course, if your sunroof is working, you could practice your hook shot into the toll basket through the roof.

Do the motors seem to have full strength? If so, maybe some silicone treatment for the gaskets will ease the opening.

Good news is the sunroof works fine. Bad news is...my hook shot sucks.

All the motors seem like they have full power.Good idea on the silicone treatments. I'm gonna giveit a shot.

I had the same problem with mine. Both front windows would go up about half way and then stop. I live north of Chicago where it has been quite cold. My mechanic (who is a guru in the "KISS" principle) used a high quality silcon spray on all the window channels. Let it soak in, "exercised" the window then did it again, soak and again..... The problem is now fixed. We had 15 F last week and it worked well.

Yep the silicone trick works pretty good, but if it doesn't you might need regulator window clips. They are plastic clips that lift and lower the window, they commonly crack and make it harder for the window motor to do its job. You can get them for like 5 bucks at www.ecstuning.com
