Who has chipped their AR ?
New here on the forums. I'm in Montreal, and I chipped with Unitronic, local company. Have to say my 2.7T is far more responsive than before. I took it on the wyway this morning, I was very surprised by the incredible surge in passing power between 100 to 140 kms (62 - 85mph) Anyways just want to share, quite exhilarating!

What BHP and Torque (Nm) is your AR producing now?
Btw, a software remap to the same factory ECU also works.
Many believe the ECU must be replaced (what people call "chipping") but that's not true. A software remap (overwriting and optimising the factory code in the ECU) does the same job.

"Flashed" my 2003 2.7T 6 speed with APR flash (http://www.goapr.com/products/ecu_upgrade_a627t.html). Increase of 250 to 318 HP and 290 to 382 ft lbs Torque. Cannot imagine having this car without the flash. Out pulls 2.7 S4 and also out pulls 4.2 S4 V8 until the V8 hits 7000 RPM.
No driveability or reliability issues.
Do it! Worth every penny.

I have Dahlback. They claim it brings the car up to 315, I believe it was. I know it's a far more enjoyable ride chipped. I rarely push it hard, but you're right on about passing. That 60MPH+ band is fast and smooth.
Just be careful since it makes your turbos run at double their "rated" pressure.

Hey billvt - when you "flashed" your allroad with APR did you just download from the site and which approach did you take? All four or did you just select one of the options? And finally did any of this help with gas mileage?
thanks in advance.
