Default "Knocking Noise"

I've had my A3 for a few weeks and so far, so good.
One thing I've noticed is a noise when I accelerate quicky.
First I thought it was an engine knock (higher frequency clicking sound), but I hear it when the car is shifting.
It's a minor annoyance, but I'm wondering if it might turn into something serious.
Anyone else here this kind of noise?

what octane gas did you put into your car? if you put anything less the 91 octane, the gas will burn slower than the engine is trying to burn it, hence the knocking. run out your current gas in your tank and put 91 or 93 into your car, the knocking should go away. i'm not an expert at this, but i talked about the "knocking" with a few audi mechanics and that's what they told me.

I've been putting 91 (or more) octaine fuel in the car. I think the sound is coming rom the DSG transmission. It has a similar sound as knocking but I only hear it when I'm accelerating and shifting.
