New guy here.
I asked Audi about the changes they were making to the Nav RNS-E for the 2007. I asked if this MMI system would be installable in my 2006 A3. They stated no as the parts which make the MMI work in the A6 and up is different than what is in the A4 down. Therefore the system and function for things like the iPod are not upgradible at this time. Audi did hint that a change in systems for the A3 and A4 would be coming.
That is what I learned in a nut shell.
What type of content does your mp3 have? Are you sure the artist info is there?

I don't have the car yet. Just trying to decide if I should hold out for a 2008 or just go with the 2007 navigation. I love this car but in terms of audio technology, Audi is strangely far behind.
