Default 2008.5 2.0T How to remove engine cover?

Hi Guys,

I've got a 2008.5 A3 with the new 2.0T engine with the chain instead of a belt.

How does the engine cover come off? Looks much simpler than the old 2.0T cover but I can't see any screws or attachment points. Does it just pull off?

I just want to be able to remove the oil filter, which is blocked by the left lower corner of the cover. Is there anything else I need to know about changing the oil on this?

Thanks!!
Al

Default Thanks!

Thanks! Turns out the cover just pulls off. The attachment points are in the left and right upper corners and the left lower corner, so pulling at those locations one at a time makes it an easy task.

Here is a site that has photos of the cover and the engine, clearly showing the attachment points.
