This is giving me a lot of grief! Having test driven each one several times now I'm favoring the 3.2. If the 2.0 MT was available with quattro, or the 3.2 was available with a 6MT it would be a much easier decision. But, so far I'm still favoring the3.2. I'm not interesting in tuning, modding, etc. Iwould prefer aMT but that DSG is very nice!Then I came across the fantastic lease deals (that end on Oct. 1st.) on the A4 2.0T Quattro which is clouding things a bit.

Btw, for those of you looking to buy a new car (almost any car) and don't want to haggle with a dealer, check out the Costco and Sam's Club programs. It doesn't apply to every dealer (only McDonald in the Denver area for example) but those that do participatehave a pre-arranged agreement to see the car at some fixed amount relative to invoice. Depending on the car and the dealer it may at invoice, some amount over invoice (such as $500-1000), or maybe even below invoice. Plus, typicall no dealer fees. However, you must be a Costco or Sam's Club member.

 

Finally took delivery of my 08 2.0T S-line with roof rails. Except for the 5 day delay due to storms in the Gulf, right on time.
Ordered July 29 and picked up Oct 9.
