Alarm|Central Locking (Rain) dilemma.
Hi, I'm new to the forums and require a bit of help.
I have an 1996 Audi A3 3d. On Friday (sunny morning)I managed to leave my windows down in the car accidentally only to come back my car soaked in a freak shower with the alarm going off.
I thinkwater has got into the little hole where the button is onone if not both of the doors and thereforethe central locking/alarm/immobiliser has broken.
[ul][*]When I lock the drivers side door, only the drivers side door button locks. The alarm light doesn't come on.[*]When I lock the passenger side door, the central locking activates and all the door lock with the little lights coming on but the windows come down on both doors,[*]When I lock from the boot everything seems lock and immobilise properly.[/ul]
Just 20 minutes ago though (having locked from the boot) I went out to find my alarm was going off and the windows had come down on thier own.
Can anyone suggest what is wrong or what I need to do to fix it?
