Hi Guys

I have a 2004 Audi A3 2.0 Tdi, I am really pleased with it. It pulls very well in all gears except 1st gear and i dont know why this is. I can hear the turbowhistle through 2nd up to 6th but not 1st. it revs very quickly to the redline but with not really much pull.

Is there any reason for this? can it be resolved? may I have a problem?

I don't know anything about the Tdi, but are you sure it isn't just a traction issue? If the tires are just spinning it isn't going to pull.

 

Sounds pretty normal to me.

I drove a 2007 A3 TDI DSG...first gear was very short.
