Chef's Rant - UPDATED!
Thanks.
I do feel better from the cold, still in pain from the injury.
CAR UPDATE:
The autobody shop f-cks up again! They ordered the rearend for my car, got the piece and painted it prior to calling me. I dropped my car off this morning and they said it would be completed and detailed by the end of the day. I received a call late this morning explaining that they ordered the wrong rear piece and had to order the correct one. They noticed it was the incorrect unit prior to dismantling my current rear end at least. The newrearwill be in tomorrow, painted by Monday and ready to install on Tuesday. I picked my car up again this evening, and at least they washed and detailed it correctly for me this time.
Still hoping that this nightmare of an experience will end sometime soon.
Cheers!

Another RANT:
So I'm tired at the end of a long week and head home with my kids, early, in hopes of having a fun night out with them. Previously in the week, my son had finished a project for school in which he used glue, bright blue acryllic paint, sand, etc. He left his mess on a small table in the front of the garage, and I had asked him several times over the last few days to get everything cleaned up. WELL, driving into the garage on Friday, my son's paint bottle, full of bright blue paint, had rolled under my front left tire and the car smashed the bottle, erupting paint everywhere in the 2-car garage, and all over my car.[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]
I kept my cool and didn't kill the boy, like I wanted to. Instead, I sent everyone into the house and immediately got the paint off my car and scrubbed down the floor of the garage with a broom, chemicals, and water. I'm sorry that I didn't get any pictures prior to the cleaning, which would have shocked and amazed you, but I was in a frantic hurry to get the paint off before it dried. I have a shot from my phone of the boy scrubbing what didn't easily come off, and a picture of my tire tread. I had already cleaned the rim and sidewall, so blue was only left on the tread.
Just another day in Chef's world.
Cheers!

There's something terribly wrong here. The boy is wearing shorts, is barefoot, BUT IS WEARING A THICK SWEATER!!!!!
You can fool some but you can't fool me. Hiding the bruises and lashes eh? [
] So so sad
LOL
My first instinct was to beat the boy to death, but in my defense, I handled it much better than I would have thought I would. I just told him to get in the house, NOW! Later, I told him to change into old clothes and scrub every bit of blue off of the cement. Just punishment in my mind, and a character building exercise.
I can laugh now, but at the moment it happened, my heart just stopped.
Sheezzz.

lol [sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif]– good eyes A3night, that was very clever.
Haha. Yea. Definatly child abuse no doubt. Looking at the picture again, note how much soap water Chef gave him to work with in relation to the size of the cleanup. The drivewayis dry too!
Also, who in theright mindleaves a broom outside in the dirt
