Chipped 2.0t!
I know I don't have an A3, but the A4 shares the same 2.0t engine. This is my original post from the A4 forum...
Well I finally gave in to the temptation. Stopped by ECS Tuning and had my ECU flashed. Since they are running an October special I decided to go all out. They installed the stock program, 91 program, 93 program, and the 100 octane race program.
Let me tell you I had no idea how much fun this thing could be. The 2.0T is an awesome engine just begging to be tuned. I think I managed to break all 4 wheels loose in the rain going around a corner! I can't wait to fill up with some race gas. APR hasn't released HP numbers for the 100 octane yet but one report said he was able to beat a cobb tuned wrx. Next up might be APR's new exhaust system which will be released soon. They say with their special exhaust program you can see another 20 hp on top of the chip's 241hp.
Anyway just wanted to share my experience. I think I love my car more every day.

RE: Chipped 2.0t!
yeah a bunch of guys in canada have gotten flashed and the ones with the manual seem really happy with it. Im myself am most likely going with OCT,revo or GIAC as the #'s from European based companies are bound by law thus less room for conjecture. Congrats though on a great mod and enjoy the power!!! People really seem to love APR. Exhaust next?
