Question Clutch problem A3 2001

Hi,
I have a A3 2001 1.6L with the 02K box. The problem started with the clutch pedal staying on the floor. Pulled the pedal up and that left the pedal rock solid and would not move.

So having checked the master and slave cylinder decided to pull the box. Got the box pulled back and was wondering why it would not drop so checked with a lead light. The input shat is free but the bl**dy pushrod is still in the back of the clutch.

Any ideas how to free it up?

Also, now the box is back. The arm the slave pushes on still isn't moving. What the hecks wrong?
