aren't they just renaming the 'sport' package to 's-line' even if its essentially the same thing? are there major differences?

Yeah, $$ about 5% on total sticker for next year... pretty major on a car over 30k

does that 5% give you anything? or just price hike?

I'm late on this discussion, but I wanted to chime in about the 3.2.

I LOVE quattro. When I was looking to buy a small car with AWD, my top two choices were between the BMW325xi and the A3 3.2. I would have preffered Audi offer the Quattro with a manual transmission and the 2.0, if nothing else but for the cost, but I quickly learned what everone else did, which is that if you want Quattro, you basically have to buy all of the other stuff. After test driving the DSG I really fell in love with the paddle shifters and my concern with lack of manual was gone. In the end, every A3 seems to be a really enjoyable ride, and I haven't had a bit of problems with mine in 2 months. I didn't buy at the end of the month like you are suppossed to, but I was able to get mine for about invoice, probably would have been cheaper if I could have waited.

Is it true that 07s will not come with the 4 year 48k free service?

after some more research, it seems I can get everything i want, in an 07 model.

2.0T, DSG, open sky, nav, s-line, and tech package round out my wishes exactly, except for the quattro...but who knows, 3 years from now, if the S3 comes out.... Might have to go look around this weekend and see if the 07's are trickeling in yet, or still order only.

we have a few 07's already, as do most dealerships.. dont expect to see them on the lot unless they already sold out the 06 models.
