Default ESP Failure Indicator- Help!?

Hi everyone,

I have a new A3 TDI with 2500km on it. At about 800km, one morning the yellow ESP indicator fault went on. It lasted about 30 minutes of driving and went out. At the 1000km dealer inspection, they detected a fault, and a week later, replaced something related to the ESP system. (Sorry, not sure what, as my Mandarin Chinese is not up to that level...ESP stuff in Chinese...hmm!) Anyhow, this morning when I started the car, the indicator came back on and lasted for 5 minutes and then went out.

Besides this, everything seems fine. So I have 2 questions:
1) Anyone else had this type of problem before and can perhaps shed some light on it?
2) Would you take the car back to the dealer based on just this?

Thanks everyone!

Taipei A3!

Definitely take it back to the dealer until they get it fixed properly.

Cheers!

Thanks guys!

I think I will take it back to the dealer...but I have a theory....

Where I park my car, I have to drive my car onto a "turntable" which then rotates while the car is stationary on the rotating platform. I then drive the car onto an elevator and it hoists the car up (with me in it!) 3 stories to street level. (Yes, space is that tight in Taipei!) Do you think the ESP can sense that the car is rotating but cannot figure out why because the wheels are stationary? Is is that clever? Or am I just pulling at straws in the vain hope that my car does not have some mysterious electrical malady that will be hard to iron out?

Thanks!!
