Help with Bluetooth Connection
ORIGINAL: whoowhoo
Chief,
Thanks for suggestion. Makes perfect sense that it would fix the problem, however, my treo is still drops off and comes back on every minute or so. I'm gonna keep messing with it.

WW,
I had the same prob with my Treo. Messed with it long enough and finally found a real quirky solution. Do you have any pauses andauto-dial extra digitsprogrammed into your "Favorites" contacts? I'm talking about commas or 'p's.....for example dialing a number then pausing and automatically dialing an extension. I did, and once I removed them, my re-booting went away. Very strange, but I swear it worked. You can use the extra digits, but don't have them dial automatically.

I have a more basic question. I have the tech package, but not the Nav option. How the heck do I sync my phone with the Bluetooth package? The manual is not clear on this. It referes to the cradle under the armrest, but I don't have the dock for my Motorola Razr. I know this is probably easy to do, but can someone fire away with the simple instructions?
Activate bluetooth on your phone and search for devices while your in your car... I think you car has to be on.
If your phone finds something with Audi in the name, that's your car. Pair it with your car, the code is 1234 I think.
If it doesn't find anything, then your car doesn't have bluetooth.
Check the window sticker that you should have got when you bought the car. If it mentions bluetooth compatability anywhere on there (probably in the options), you should be set.
