I'm thinking about getting an A3. This will replace a Toyota Corolla which we have had for 5 years. I know the insurance will go from £330 to about £680. Can anyone please let me know what typical other running costs for an A3 will be such as tyres / wiper blades / service (non-audi garage)?

Thanks for any info, trying to understand what we are in for financially if we do get one of these cars.

Audis are known for their powerful performance and value for money. Comparing corolla with A3 is not that relevant. When it comes to running costs, Audi won't let you down. However, this German car does need good maintenance to ensure same good performance all the time. Parts for your Audi will cost you slightly more than the Corolla but that would not matter much when you have already opted for a powerful A3.
