How do you guys get updates? Does your sales rep. call you, or do you call then nagging about when the car is coming?

I still have two months to go.. [&o]

 

I just email my sales rep and he checks with the new car manager and then replies.

I'm guessing you live in Sweden if you ordered a 2.0T with Quattro. [sm=icon_cheers.gif] I sure wish we could do that here.

 

I have received one email update, one phone call update and one "live" in-person update when I went to the dealer to finish my paperwork. This last update was cool because my sales rep. saw me when I first walked in and he told me he had no news. Then, after I left the business manager's office, my rep. called me over and showed me his computer screen, where he was logged in to Audi's online ordering sytem. My car was "in port"!!!

 

Yeah now it has to go through customs and have a trucker pick it up from the dock. Of course you could get lucky and get it shortly.

 

Another update!

Sent my rep. an email this afternoon as I was leaving work - wanting any more details on timing at port (prep. and inspection, etc.). When would the car get to the dealership?

Just checked work email from home and he replied: "Your car has left the port. It should be here any day or within a few days."

He thinks it will be Tuesday or Wednesday next week!!!!!

Deleting "On Order" from my sig. soon!!

 

That's awesome. Take it home and just touch it for a while, it will help you sleep that first night. LOL.

(I still touch mine, that sounds funny, but I don't care... ok, kinda kidding).
