Hey guys,
I just bought a 2010 A3 TDI, black on black, premium plus package, and open sky roof. I love the way this car drives, rides, handles, and looks from the outside. I am a bit disappointed on the interior, however. The fit and finish is nice but the plain black dash and stiff, flat seats leave a bit to be desired. Especially from an Audi.

So, my questions are:
1. Would seats from an A4 or S4 bolt into my A3 without modification?
2. Are they the seat rails the same for the last few years or very year dependent?
3. Is the wiring for seat heater and for power passenger seat built into the existing wiring harness or is custom wiring required?

I'm sure I'll have more questions later. Many thanks.

I'll assume you can make the swap you want, but beware of the seat airbags. Make sure you disconnect the battery before you mess with the seat wiring. An inadvertent spark when disconnecting the under seat leads could cause the seat airbag to deploy. Maybe check over at www.vwvortex.com as well.
