Had that same situation with my dealer when I did my 10K, They say the reflashing of the ECU is that they were having situations were the check light and service were coming on at sparatic times. The said the computer geeks found the problem and figure it would be easier to reflash with all the info dor the new model year. So if you got your reflash its like haveing a 08 brain. Also there is a coolant core(plug) recall for the 06 model. They said they were failing and had a chenge in the design so that it wouldn't be a problem. So all of you in the heat or extreme cold I would give your dealer a call and get it fixed. As a3_yuppie put it "Better safe then sorry"

 

where do you find the recalls from 4ringsrod? and hat other recalls do you know of for the 06 a3s? i'm taking my car for service soon..and i want all the recall stuff fixed. tia!

 

Just call your Audi dealer. If you have an 06 and they say there aren't any I believe an email to AofA will send you a reply with the recalls. Audi is usually very good about not having recalls so when they do have them they want them fixed fast. Need to live up to their reputation.
