Can anyone tell me if the new Samsung U540 will pair up with the Audi bluetooth so that it will display the phonebook on the nav screen?

 

It supports the "Hands-Free Profile", so in theory, it should. However, specific phones' Bluetooth implementations have proven to vary a bit in actual practice, so no one can say for sure.

 

You might check out this website: http://www.jetwaremobile.com/. My bluetooth phone (Audiovox SMT-5600) would not transfer the phone book until I loaded this utility. Evidently there are different bluetooth protocols and this utility fixed the issue for me.
