Sirius Satellite Install - '06 A3
I've searched quite a bit on google and these forums for some information on how to complete the sirius install. I got the module, installed it in driver's side rear and when I went to change the can-bus connection in the passenger side foot well, I found that my car didn't have a harness there. The car is pre-wired and has the shark fin antenae, but it seems that maybe there was a generation change or something where they didn't put that can-bus in that location yet. Does anybody know what I would need to change to get my Sirius working? It's a Audi concert head unit without nav, ipod or CD changer. One thing that I noticed on my car that I didn't see mentioned on the other's installation instructions was that when I put the module in, the wiring that was there seemed to have a jumper in one of the harness's (factory installed). I had to remove that in order to put the Sirius module in as the other half of the plug had to go into the module.

Just did the install on an 07 with XM. Under the kickbox were two wire connectors that were taped to other wire bundles. I cut them free and connected them. Instant radio connection. I then called XM and asked for a trial period and thier 77 dollar special. I got three month trial and 77/year special. Don't know about sirius specials, but I googled xm promotions to find mine.

The links I've tried to follow do not work anymore, does anyone know if this file is still available, I'm looking for information on what you have to do in the passenger Kickpanel CANbus conector to get the Sirus or XM receiver to work.
