I think Sirius offers 30 day demo subscriptions to get new subscribers. If you dont want to subscribe, I'll buy your sirius tuner!

You should have a couple hundred channels. You need to call Sirrius and have the account activated first and the purchase of the car comes with a 90 day free service. After that you need pay for the service. Definitely worth it in my opinion.

Cheers!

does the 90 days free not include all the channels? Kind of hard to decide if i want to keep it if i only get like 15 channels, and only like 6 of them are music anyway.

There is no real free trial. Either you have all of the channels or you have the preview channel. If you are using just the steering wheel controls then you have 15 presets. Otherwise use the control **** on the stereo and you can control all of the channels.

well i found out what was going on by calling sirius....twice. First person said i needed to take the radio to audi cause it was probably messed up. Second person actually looked up the account and saw i had what he called a 'demo' account. Basically what they put on the car if it sits in the showroom as an 'advertisment' for sirius. I could have probably kept it this way forever as he said i had nothing actually setup. But with only 15 channels to choose from it kind of stunk, cause it was missing a LOT of channels...over 150 weren't there. Anyway i got setup with the standard 90 day free trial that's supposed to come with most new cars. My car should have been either in the one preview channel mode or full subscription like Chef said, but looks like i get full sirius now for free until dec. 31st. I guess its ok....giving up the 15 totally free channels that i wasnt supposed to have.

Sweet, glad you got it straighted out.

I love satellite radio. I really wanted to go with Sirius as thats what I had in my last car but XM should be just as good. All I want is more music and more variety without those CRAPPY COMMERICALS! [:@]. Radio DJ's are starting to **** me off as well.

the dealership is supposed to call sirius once you purchase the vehicle to activate the 90 free service, that's what they did for me.
