we the people who understand so little of the sexes don't understand the human side of things ( is a man gay if he loves another man without sex being the concept? ) or is it a man who wants to be a women or who has more attributes to feminist thoughts

I did not intend to stir up such a s*&t storm here. Really wish this thread would just die out. I get the point that some people take no offense to posts like this. That speaks well about the membership here - for the most part an unbiased, intelligent group of people. Unfortunately many people are much less tolerant. The gay friends that I have just want to live their lives in peace and are not anxious to be singled out in any way. Apologies if I overreacted but I've seen friends put up with a lot of s*&t over the years and therefore may be over sensitive about this. Bottom line is that I think most everyone on this forum is in agreement. Let's just put this thread to rest.

 

The simple fact-of-the-matter is that if one of my friends announced one night that he was coming out-of-the-closet as a gay person, the next comment from our group would be something like this, "That's great, Dave. Now could you please pass the salt, the cheeseburgers, and one of those cold beers? Thanks." Nobody would care and wouldn't treat this person any differently anyway.
