I have a 2001 190 TDI A3 and would like to know if it's a big deal to fit a towing hitch?

I not looked under the back end yet to see if there is a fitting to accept it, but any know if this is possible and how expensive it might be? I heard rumors that it's getting harder to retro fit a tow hich as the cars now needs to be set up for it with regards to their computers etc??

They make them for my 06 a3, i have yet to buy one but plan on it to pull my motorcycle. Just google trailer hitch for the a3.

 

Get a chip so it will increase your Tourqe for towing. I'm sure that TDI will have no problem towing after that and fitting one should also not be a problem. It's tourqe upgrade I would get before towing.
