As for original poster, wheneveri am at a dealership i always ask for quote before i tell them to get the work done. Once the guy said your cabin and air filter needs to be changed as they are dirty, and i loooked at him like WTF, cause i had them replaced a few months ago lol... I guess i said that without even looking at them. Sometimes they just want the easy money...

d3m0nz3y3, as long as all 4 tires are the same size, tread pattern shouldn't matter. If you're running directional tires in reverse, you'll wear your tires down much faster. Another way to f*ck up your quattro would be to run a staggerred setup (ie. different-sized tires in the front & back).
