$95 FOR WHAT?! A small code?! Help please!
I feel your pain. My radio went into safe mode for the same reason and the stealership charged me 65 bucks. It took them about 10 minutes after I was there for an hour. My car sat outside the whole time and I was the first person there at 6:30 in the morning. It's a joke. I searched near and far for the code and it was nowhere. Some people say it's in the ash tray, some in the trunk but you will never find it. Just another way to get that hard earned money.
get me the vin and the serial numbers off the radio and email me at bruce_a_suter@hotmail.com I will try to get you the code. I can get vw ones for free I may be able to get audi. Let me know
yeah i just posted this same problem a few days ago. post your vin and the number etched on your radio and i might be able to get it for you for free as well. i got mine because my neighbor is a dealer at the local audi, he didnt charge me.

Ok, sweeet.
I was going to actually going to spend ages searching for a free decoder program, but now thanks to you two, I can get it with no problem.
I'm just going to need to remove the radio, but I read that you need a "spotted din", but is there another way to get the radio out?
