Ladies and Gentleman, let me introduce myself by telling you I am in need of a new transmission. My car has 97,500 miles on it but yet 2 mechanics said I need a new one.They both want $7,500 for the project. Of course I don't have the money nor do I have the chance to raise the money. There must be something else I can do?
Now I have been in contact with the local salvage yards, and many have my Audi transmission. Is a used transmission not good for an Audi? What should I look for when purchasing a used trans? Thanks all!!

 

A used transmission is a crap shoot. It is a lot of work to find out it might not be any good.
Just remember , you allready have a used transmission.
