I know the recall affected up to '03, but does anyone know of one for '04s? I didn't find anything online for this problem.I had to take mine in last weekand the dealershipcharged me $50 under CPO. Oh yeah, they also said that they can only replace one pack at a time because their supplies are limited. I thought this was all sorted out 2 years ago or so. Anyone have the latest info? Thanks

I just had to have all 4 ignition coils changed in my 04' today!!

I went to Eurosports in Plano.....They were great to deal with and they had my card done in 3 1/2 hours. Same day service!!!!! I think they were fairly in-expensive too. I had all four coils changed as well as all the spark plugs and a break sensor too for a grand total of $489

I have heard that there is a huge back order on the coils from the place that I originally purchased my car from......And Eurosports told me that it is a very common problem these days, but not just in Audi's.

 

The Bremi coils are garbage, and yes the dealers are only allowed to stock so many of them so they can only replace one at a time.
