Just visited the folks all good drove 200 miles home with no issues but when i got home the car would not stop running when i switched of the engine. I had to remove the battery lead for it to stop. Popped my small code reader in and no codes at all .... got me a bit stumped and a right pain as i need the car for work so any ideas folks ?

 

I would add the wastegate flapper to the list. It's a bit harder to fix, but not impossible. If the turbo is otherwise good, it's worth fixing rather than buying a new turbo.
