A borla catback is stainless steel all the way, and will never rust.
If you go custom, the piping isn't stainless. Its cheaper, but you get what you pay for. It will rust and need replaced someday.
I have the borla setup, it is a very nice exhaust. I highly reccomend it.

Not true I got a friend that went custom on his G35 and it was stainless all the way back. If its a good reputable company then they will have this to offer. BUT again it will cost you.

well, sure you can have a custom stainless made, but not for any less than just buying the premade one, so what would be the point????
His point was it would save you a bunch of money, so you know he's not talking about a stainless custom exhaust!
