Be careful on the history of a 2.7t. When the turbos go, it's twice as expensive.

are the turbos known to be problematic? I've owned many turbo (and one twin turbo) cars in the past, put well over 100K on all of them and I've NEVER had a turbo issue (but then again I'm good about cool down and oil changes).

If the previous owner wasn't as kind to it, it may have some issues down the road. I know I sound like a pessimist, but no one wants to get stuck with someone elses problem.

that's the case for any car though, you made it sound like the 2.7T might be more problematic than others. believe me i will be asking for service records and having a PPI done.
