ok im really pissed audi told me that i need part 059 919 059 A the green type coolant sensor, said f that when they told me $80, went to vw same part was $40, maybe. but ive always heard everyone on alot of forums say that this is like a $10 part, i searched some more and found one on ecs tuning. well i ordered the green one since it was the part i was told, got it today and WTF the sensor connector is different. so i spent all this time taking the sensor off ( on a 2.8 might i add) just to put the old one back in. my car i running lean and i have a useless sensor, someone tell me what part i need and what to do with this sensor.

 

hmm...when I had my 12v, I constantly had that problem. I went through several sensors b/c they all failed. I too bought the green one from ECS and it was wrong. I solved the whole sensor issue by totaling it and buying a 1.8T

you guys have a pic of the sensor, i dont have full coverage otherwise id total mine too. im still waiting for someone to t-bone me.

 

call napa, autozone, pepboys, advanced autoparts, robbins auto parts,,,,,try it..they might have it...believe or not the dealer had the best price.... bring your old one to the store and compare

 

thats what i was doing all day after i found out my new one wouldnt fit. napa had it for $45 vw had it for 40 but dont know if it will fit. also i cant really take my old one out because i wont have a ride than. wann buy and ship me the sensor from your dealer.
