hey i was wondering if anyone has chipped there 2.8 audis and noticed a big enough difference to make it work it, or if they noticed a difference at all. there are not many mods to do to a 2.8 and an extra 15 hp would be nice plus exhaust it wouldnt bee all bad to drive also does anyone have any experiecne with billyboat exhaust www.bbexhaust.com

 

It's not all about peak HP gain. It eliminates a dead spot around 3000-3500rpms, sharpens throttle response a lot, gives 10lbft of torque across the rev range, and can put you in the low 15s.

 

The chip along with exhaust and maybe an elec. fan would release a few more ponies. You're not really going to "gain" any horse from exhaust or a elec. fan but you're "releasing" horsepower, if that means anything. So between the chip and those other 2, you could get at least 25-30 hp probably.

 

You would definitely tell the difference, let's put it that way.

 

From what i've seen on the forums, most people say it's a waste of money. For the price it's hardly noticeable.
