s/c are a waste of money in my opinion the are like 25% less power then a turbo and you lose fuel effeciency and it is always running. vs the turbo that gives you more power more efficiency. so unless the new pes s/c is much better engineered and has an intercooler and in general doesn't suck i'm not going to waste time on that. i know a turbo is possible, the question is what is the best way. as far as room and s4 is the same engine bay with a 2.7twin turbo and the engines are not that different. as far as labor i will do my own work and have access to my own shop so i'm not working about cost. as far as being lazy and just buying a 1.8t i like my car and have it already and see no point. i would rather just upgrade suspension and brakes and wait for my 2.8 to go and then custom build for the ground up. use something like a 3.0t eurospec small block for the base and then custom build a head for RS4 K04's and then find someone to tune it? anyone know someone capable of tuning that. eigher way i am atleast waiting till next summer as i am in school and am just researching for now. Cincy you should check this out as i'm sure your skills could help out.

thats a **** load of work your plannin on doing if your that set on a turbo. also(this may be really stupid) but do the 2.8's come in quattro? and if they do and yours is then that amount of work you were looking at just doubled. idk. i dont know much about these cars and ill b the first to admit it, but i do know a lot about cars in general and i know enough to know that any price can put almost any engine in any car, so if you really wanna do that im sure it can be done, just ask yourself if its worth it. you said your not gunna do it till next summer and thats a good idea cause that is something you neeeed to think about.

He lost all crediblity when he said all turbos would make the same power at the same boost. And that they move the same amount of air at the same boost also

+1 to that. For the lazy, here's a link to one making a pass on the street. It definitely sounds sick:
