Hi everyone, I just ordered a bulb off of ebay to replace one of my own and its not a Plug and Play H7 bulb, it seems to be a hid bulb and its 8000k. so im wondering what kind of converstion kit I would need for it to work properly in my car. thanks for any help in advanced...

 

O the box it says HID Xenon Bulb D2c/s 8000k. All I want is for the bulb to work in my car. it says its for audi "1999, 2000, 2001". so im confused as to why it dosent fit....

 

You'd need OEM-style HID ballasts, which are expensive. It's far easier and cheaper to get a conversion kit like the ones at KrautoParts - Premium Auto LED | HID Supplies and retrofit the whole system.
