Pull the glove box completely out, (10 8mm bolts) then put the glove compartment on a bench to work on, remove the set screw on the side of the door (pic) then pop out the handle from the door using a flathead screwdriver or trim panel tool. The lock will come out with the handle
Now, before you remove the lock from the handle insert the key into the lock, (if you don't the tumblers will could fall out then your screwed) Break off the holders that hold the lock onto the handle and pull it straight out and install the lock EXACTLY the way it came out of the old handle or you just wasted the new handle by installing it wrong. Pop the new handle into the door and verify correct operation.
