Hey there,
I have 2003 a4 1.8l quattro. The other day the ignition key half of my fob fell out into the snow. I didn't have a spare so I had to have the car towed to the dealership to have a new key made and programmed. Two days later when the snow melted I found my original key. I unknowingly tried starting the car with this key which triggered the immobilizer now my new key won't work as well. Is there anyway to save myself from having my car towed back to the dealer? Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.
