Default 2005 3.0 tire question

Hi

I am going to be looking at a 3.0 quattro with the following tires (Alloy wheels, 215/55 all-season tires), my concern is how effective are they in the snow?

Thanks

Alan

They are all seasons.... So..... Better than summer tires, not as good as winter tires................. I personally would be more concerned about the overal condition and maintnance history of the car.

Depends on what tire. I work at a tire shop and I get yokohama yk520's and they work very well. I got them in 225/50/16.

Hi

It's a CPO with 25,000 miles but l haven't seen it in person yet. They list a bunch of options but l'm sure most of them are standard. I will call the dealership in the am and as for a list of options other then the standard ones.

It's hard to go private because they give the extended warranty and now .09% financing.

But they are asking $30,000 but l might be able to get something off, but who knows.

$30k??!?!! for a 3.0????? You can get a brand new 3.2 or2.0T for very close to that or less with 0 miles! Id keep shopping around if I were you.
Well, a new 3.2 is more like $36k, butyou could get a new 2.0T for $30k or even lessfor sure.
