The warranty is a nice thing to have with some of the problems these cars can exhibit, but I thought that the encryption on most chips and the stock mode leaves the dealer unable to flash you over or tell that you're chipped.
Ya they can't tell, I have a friend working as a tech for Audi and their computer can't tell it has been modified

Hate to say this, but my initial reaction to the pictures of the '09 in the link above?

Hyundai?

Looks very Asian-influenced in design, but I'm sure I'll be dreaming of one in no time at all...

BTW- Kyle, it's probably too late, but for future ref. you should ask the dealer to order it without badges, or to take care of debadging before you receive your car. BMW did it for my 330xi (it was custom-order/7 month wait from Germany, though). Two months ago, infiniti debadged my new G35 and it is perfectly done. No charge. Now I just wish I'd waited for the G37....is this the Audi forum....mmmyeah....

really? I don't see much asian influence in it at all... but that's just me. looks more bimmer-ish in my opinion, especially the back end.

Nice... I ordered an '08 A4 about 3weeks ago. Should be here late Sept. Got the quattro, dolphin gray, premium package, heated seats, sport suspension, walnut wood interior. I actually got the car forquite a bit less than invoice, I guess I got lucky with the dealership.

I've been reading the posts about ECU flashing. So the dealership can't tell whether it's been flashed? Is it right to say it adds about 30 hp? What kind of an effect does it have on MPG? Can anyone suggest any good shops that do this, or are they all the same?
