Default 99.5 ABS module question.

I was in an accident a few weeks ago, nothing major physical. But can being in an accident in the front, cause the abs module to fail or break etc? Is it worth taking to a dealership to find out if the insurance company will cover it? only way they will is if the ABS module failure was due to the accident? Any thoughts? by the way it was in the front of my car , the accident i mean, someone pulled out on me, and i slammed into her, almost tboning her. Just so you know what type. Thanks for any information that can be given.

You can do that yourself, did anything smash into the abs module? If there is no external damage to the ABS module then you just bought one.

im not too sure if there is actual damage to the module or not. I havent bought anything, i just got my car back last friday, and the ABS lights were on, cars pulling to the left, and my passenger headlight doesnt work. So i called the insurance adjuster and he said i have to get it looked at, find the problem, and make sure its caused from the accident. than they will fix it. So thats what im trying to do.

So what your saying is, the only way it would be considered part of the accident would be if there was physical damage that you can see? Are there not internal parts that could be damaged due to the collision?
