Mine hesitates when accelerating from a stop. The rpm's don't fluctuate or move abnormally but the engine hesitates. Usually goes away when I get to about 5 mph. I also just bought mine and I have a slight vibration at stand still. Don't know if it's normal.
Congrat's! I have heard of the vibration issue with Automatic's, but do not know the cause. (I have a 6spd Manual) Some are worse than others from what I have read. As long as it is not a problem to drive I would not worry about it. If it is serious, I would take it to the dealer to have checked. There are other things these A4's can have. You can check on the various issues some have on this site. So far mine has had the Coil packs (warranty/recall) and the PCV go bad. Other than that A4 B7's are pretty solid if you keep the maintance up!
That's first on my check list of things to do. The coil packs and then the pcv and I have read from threads that the cam position sensor should also be changed every now and then. Thanks for your input
