Ok I've been looking around for a good bit for some after market items for my '97 A4 2.8. Anytime I find an exhaust system or intake, they are always for the 1.8T. I was wondering if any of those items would fit my 2.8 model? Its probably a stupid question, but I need some clarification. I checked out Supersprintna, Sfxperformance, Rimier, Neuspeed, and some other sites so far.

 

you picked the wrong car for modding, there are really no aftermarket parts for the 2.8 especially the 12v ones. For exhaust your best bet is to go custom and for ntakes its pretty much a cone filter for a sportier noise. if you want to mod your car I suggest you get a 1.8T

 

As above, not much from a performance perspective that can be done with the 2.8. Custom exhaust will free up some power. Lack of possible engine mods frees up $$$ for cosmetics and sound system.

holy crap thats expensive, you can do much better for way less man, check out magnaflow mufflers or remus, then have some custom pipes made and you will be golden

 

yea dats some expensive muffler....i wouldnt even think about getting that...work with magnaflow,remus, or borla.....i see u want to modd ur audi....i suggest u trade it in for 1.8T.....or spend thousands on a supercharger for ur 2.8....

 

ya that muffler costs more than both my borla exhaust and test pipe!(mainly thanx to badluckaudi tho) u seem to be into modding so do yourself a favor and sell ur v6 for a 1.8T. parts are vast and cheap(er).
