I'm looking at the aftermarket for an 02 TT Quattro. What are most people doing for upgrading their exhaust systems In particular, what uppipes and downpipes are considered the best deal, or the best deal on a turbo back system in general. Or are most people going custom?

Also, for this particular model what are your opinions on software upgrades? What are the advantages between the companies?

And lastly what is the best value for front mount intercoolers?

Up pipes....these aren't scoobies! Yep check out the faq there is tons of info. Plan on spending at least 1200-1500 on a turbo back. Mods are NOT cheap for these cars. I came into this scene after spending years playing with DSM's...it's a different world. Have fun buddy and welcome to the forum.

Cincy has done a great job in the stickies for gathering info on the common things done to the 1.8t engine. Don't let his work go to waste!
