A4 Avant New Clutch
We hav been quoted £1,100 for a replacement clutch for our Audi A4 Avant 2005, with 25,000 miles on the clock. The cluch failed and the car had to be towed to the Audi garage. The garage have said that the clutch is worn by wear and tear and not covered under warranty.

Might I ask how you killed a clutch at 25k miles? It might be better I don't....[&:]
Anyway, I don't know how much that is in American dollars... but. Its probably alot cheaper to buy a stock clutch and have it put in by a VW/Audi Mechanic, I had mine done at 40k cause I bought it, drove 300 miles and it died, gg to the ***** who drove it before me and curbed every wheel and fucked up a clutch.... I wanna applaud you.

that is rdiculous!...a clutch will last a bad driver 50k and a good driver up to 100k....call audi!...I'd be pissed! unless you drive with the clutch half engeged everywhere you go....do you downshift into first?...
good luck...I was quoted 1,000$ U.S form dealer for stock clutch and install...
