A4 battery
Sorry if I put this post in the wrong area, new to the forum.
We recently bought a 96 A4 for our son. It sat for a week without being operated and the battery went completly dead. After charging, it wont start. Turns over great, has spark, no fuel. Fuel pump fuse is ok. Is there something I should try?

It is a tool for diagnosing problems with VWs and Audis. You are going to need it to set up the ECU with initial settings , that allow your car to start. Locate someone with this VAG COM.
If you have a near by garage you could take it there and have them do a quick electrical system check. Some places don't charge and some do and allow you to place that system check charge toward the purchase of the needed replacement part.
I hate to ask, but you say there is no fuel at the engine.
Is there fuel in the tank? Could be a faulty gauge which reads 1/4 when the tank is empty. Try adding a few gallons of premium and then re-try.
It could be a bad fuel pump or bad connection.
some of these things can be diagnosed with a Vag-com as outlined above. Follow the link to the Vag-com locator and see if there is someone local that would be willing to come over and help out an enthusiast.
