Default A4 Reliability??

Hello All,

I dont currently own an Audi and I am a total newbie about Audis. I love BMW's and have been driving them forever. My current car right now is a 1998 BMW 328i - Auto. I love it but it is sort of dying on me and it is just time to upgrade because it has over 200,000 miles on it.

I went to the Audi Dealership and I drove the A3 and A4. In my opinion I like the A4 in terms of styling and looks. If I plan to buy and audi it will be either a 06-07 A3 or 04-07 A4. My question is what tends to be the major problems that Audi's have and at what mileage do they happen and how long can they last? I mea,n I drove my bmw to over 200,000 miles, will my future Audi do the same if I do the regular maintenance and check up?

Thanks for helping a stupid newbie.

yea... take care of it, it takes care of you. I doubt there are any serious problems with 06 and 07 audi's. Kinda too early to tell anyway.

I hate to say this but with the way audi warranty is going, take a good look at the 3 seris. Theyre warranty/maintainance is much better than audis. Down the road is hard to say without my crystal ball handy but your probably better off with a beemer.
