i would imagine this swap would be possible...maybe not the easiest but, possible...i have a 97 a4 quattro 2.8.....anyway, a guy is selling a 2000 s4, its wrecked in front but engine and turbos still good......lso good for parts such as suspension and the ECU.....is this possible to be done, please any input.

 

its possible but its not worth it, its better to sell your car and buy an S4 but in your situation i dont kno thougth, its gonna be alot of work and i doubt it will be worth it

i can get the whole car for 4000 or best offer...so probably like 3000 or 3500....but i can use the suspension, wheels, and steering wheel....and especially the ecu, i think this is really cheap and im pretty sure im gonna do it.

 

im saying if you have the money, i think i would go for it. thats not a bad price but then again are you going to do all the work or is your mechanic doing it? how much they going to charge you?

 

i do all the work my self...thats why i dont mind doing, obviously its an intrest to me, but thanks for the input....also, does anyone know where the ecu is located, and is that a tough job to do on these cars, swapping the ecu's??
