Hi all i got another issue with my car the ac makes a rumbling noise when the ac is turned on and only when its on...man i just bought this car at the audi dealer =(...any idea why this is happening? id appreciate any advise thanks again

 

I have the same problem with my '01 1.8t. It rumbles when it's on. Don't know what it could be. I just got my car as well.

 

mine is an 02' a41.8tq im hoping its not the compressor going bad...

 

I had that problem too .
They said it was build up in the A/C

 

Did the dealer fix it, or anyone. If so, how much was it?

I have the same problem and just bought the car. I was told its the compressor going bad, is it true.
Anyone ever fitted compressor to an A4.

lol i just got my 01 a4 to and i also have the same problem lol this is really weard

 

The 1.8t will run with poor NVH with the A/C on.

 

my 02 1.8t does the same thing. I got it fixed by the deal about 2 months ago and it has just started again. They wern't too clear on what it was but my warrenty covered it

 

Use the 450 a/c unit instead.

(4 windows down at 50mph).
