brian did u deal wit those accidents outside the insurance

hell yea, i hate insurance companies....i've been paying thousands of dollars every year just to drive legally....and i've never once filed any claim with any of my insurance companies...

BENTFRAME... it sucks, I know. But I'll tell ya that when you get in an accident, you'll be damn glad you have insurance. Btw- why is it so $$$ for ya?? Ahhh you are in Cali. I know their ins. premiums are all wacky-style out there. A little fun fact for ya to lower costs if you live @ home w/ the fam and they have accidents:
MOVE. Rates are based per household, not per person. My fam had a horrendous record (19 year old sister killllllled our rates) and I moved on my own... boo yah.

lol, no offense sir daft..i'm sure i will appreciate it if/when i get into a major accident...my rates are a little high because i've gotten quite a few speeding tickets in my driving career...they're finally starting to drop off my record though, so i should be below 100/month pretty soon....and yea, living in cali doesn't exactly help either...my rates did actually drop when i moved out a few years ago, i never understood why.

very simple people...
Get a rate for the repair - tell her to cut you a check for it within a week or two, or you will go to her insurance to have it done.
She was a good person to leave a note. Give the opportunity to pay out of pocket if she wishes.

Half the reason insurance rates are so high is because people are friggin greedy.

The diff between a lot of people's posts and yours is that you were not in the car. Your insurance will not go up. I hit a parked car, my insurance went up, his did not. You will have to fill out all kinds of paper work though especially if she avoids her insurance company. Me, I did 3600 in damage by shattering the headlight, and ripping out the corner lense (No structural damage, fender damage from a ripped out corner lense). If I went to my insurance co with that they would have killed me. But I sent him to my insurance with a bent bumper and they didn't hardly change my rates at all. Him, no change. He and I are still friends. Although, he did have to fill out like 10 forms because it was a damage causing accident for him. Me no forms, I told them I had no damage.

Oh might I add Audi damage is expensive... like painting them back to factory spec is a lot of money. Parts on my accident 500$ maybe (Headlight, corner lense, fender). No body work, just parts, attaching, and painting it.

Oh yeah but call her insurance... besides they will kiss your behind

Oh and I just saw the comment about deductibles, deductibles are if you are filing a claim on your own insurance. If her insurance is paying, they cut you a check for the amount you say. EDIT*** Oh I get it, Yeah she might have to pay a fatty deductible but that really does not concern you.

Did she say she wanted to go outside of the insurance, because unless she threw it on the table that she would pay cash, I really don't think she is going to be happy to pay your repair bill ('cause it is not going to be that cheap) And judging from the fact that she filed a police report and already told her insurance and all, she is definitely going through the insurance co. (I am going to guess she was wealthy because wealthy people go through their insurance to cover their behinds)

I think people have posted really good advice for you. Deal with her, not your insurance. Get 3 estimates, give her the one you want to fix your car...have her pay you. It is her choice to go or not go through her insurance and has no effect on you.

Sucks to have you car damaged...Denali's are big *** suvs...does not take much of a hit to do damage.

Hope you get it repaired quickly...
