after replacing the battery
ok i was out driving yesterday and the car started to get weak starts...
so i went ahead and tested the charging system and it checked out
i went and replaced the battery with a stronger one, 700+ Cranking Amps
and now she fires right up but sits @ low idle first then takes about 30 seconds to get back up to speed
before this happened, normal idle was @ 800-900 RPM
now it starts and goes to 500-600RPM and takes a min to get back up to speed.
rev the motor and it goes all the way down to 500RPM and then a min to get back up to speed.
what the hell happened?

turn key to on position but dont start and leave it there for 3 minutes before removing key.
or
turn key to on position, dont start, press gas to floor and hold for 5 seconds and let off and wait 3 minutes before removing key.
Do a search on throtle body adaptation or throtle body alignment and see what comes up. Its something like that...^^
Ok so ive read up on this, and just so everyone knows:
if you change your own battery, you have to have a VAG tool = Gayness
you cannot adjust the TPS or CTPS manually or automatically.
you have to use the tool to run a computer diagnostic.
i think this is by far one of those german things i hate on this car.
just for changing the battery you have to go through this hell!
i searched the web, and looked inside my bentley book and that's what it says
BEWARE!

yeah im looking on the ross-tech site, and i don't know which cable to buy
i have 3 options with 3 prices and still no clue
why isn't there just 1 simple cable for all models
and on top of that all 3 cables are suitable for my car
so what is the difference then?
